West Ham star Mohammed Kudus has expressed his admiration for Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Mohammed Kudus admitted that he Idolised the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich midfielder growing up due to his creativity.
“I liked Thiago Alcantara a lot. I love players that player with creativity and try to entertain the fans and you can see that from how I try to play. He was just too smooth for me.”
Mohammed Kudus faced Thiago Alcantara in the Champions League for Ajax and subsequently admitted that Thiago Alcantara is the best player he’s faced.

“Thiago I will say, in the Champions League when Ajax we played against Liverpool. But I wasn’t surprised because he is my favourite player, to even be that close to him, he was too smooth. You can never get close, because he dictated the whole game.”
Despite only joining West Ham United from Ajax last summer, the Black Stars attacker has been instrumental for the Hammers. A total of 13 goals in all competitions for the club means Kudus became the top-scoring Ghanaian for the club surpassing the 12 of Andre Ayew.
