As part of his routine schedule as a United Nations Peace Ambassador and Country Director of IAWPA Ghana, Bishop Sam Owusu has paid a courtesy call to Apiate, the village that was totally wiped away by the explosive blast on the 20th January 2022 to see the aftermath of the event.
He was also there to ascertain how the affected people are being impacted and also to help donate an undisclosed amount to support their livelihood.
On his visit, his team met with MCE of the area and granted their support to him to the people and also prayed for them.
They were told the victims are still looking forward for the support of many Ghanaians since they lost all their belongings, families and children.
They thank the president of Ghana and the government for their timely intervention and all other organizations that has visits them with their assistance.
