Medeama defender Samuel Adade says their strategy worked to perfection after earning a point at Tema Youth on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League. "Our game plan was to come here and win but I'm impressed with the performance and the scoreline. We drew and it's a good scoreline for us," he said after the game. Tema Youth took an early lead through Michael Kporvi in the eighth minute before Benjamin Bature tapped in from close range for the leveller on 61 minutes.

Tema Youth coach Edward Odoom had a lot of stick for his players in their 1-1 draw with Medeama. According to Odoom, his players were too pedestrian against the Tarkwa-based side. Youth took an early lead in the 8th minute through Michael Kporvi but switched off and allowed Medeama to equalize in the second half through substitute Benjamin Bature.
