The controversy surrounding the collection of tolls by the University of Ghana, Legon deepened when operatives of the National Security pulled down a toll booth under construction at the Okponglo end of the university campus at dawn Tuesday. Payment of compensation to people whose properties were destroyed as a result of the construction of transmission lines for the Bui Power Project started yesterday. The Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has criticised the National Security Council (NSC) for demolishing a University of Ghana toll booth at Okponglo Tuesday.
