I Received Financial Support From Jubilee House – New NPP Gt. Accra Chair

The newly-elected Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Divine Otoo Agorhom has disclosed that he received financial from the presidency.

He said individual contributions from the presidency led to his victory during the party’s regional elections held on Saturday April 21, 2018.

“Yes. I did…they supported me… I had support from them…they called me and encouraged me. Yes, they gave me money, even if they gave me GH¢1, it is still money. You asked a question if the Flagstaff House now Jubilee house supported me, my answer is yes. The money may have come from individual contribution…I mean whatever it is, I have support from Jubilee House,’ he told Citi FM’s Eyewitness News.

Boye had 269 votes and Cobbina 66.

Prior to the elections, the Greater Accra regional Parliamentary caucus vehemently opposed his candidature.
