The Drobo Traditional Council in the Brong Ahafo region has called on the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House in Accra to officially announce the death of the Drobohene Beyeeman Bosea Gyinantwi IV. Beyeeman Gyinantwi, known in private life as Major Jonathan Asiedu-Taku (Rtd).
Beyeeman Bosea Gyinantwi IV, the former military officer was enstooled as Paramount chief of Drobo traditional council in 1981 after the demise of Nana Adinkrah Kosopre III.
Bosea Gyinantwi IV reigned as Omanhene for the Drobo traditional council for 37 years until his demise earlier this year.
The delegation led by the paramount queen mother of Drobo Traditional Council Nana Yaa Ansuah and Member of Parliament of Jaman South Mahama Afful were at the presidency to inform and officially invite the President for the final funeral rites of the late paramount Chief.
The President sympathized and consoled with the chiefs and people of Drobo recounting the memories of the late Drobohene describing him as a development oriented person whose first priority was to draw developmental projects to his traditional area.
The burial rite is scheduled to take place from 7-13 May 2018 at Drobo, the District Capital of Jaman South.
