Nude photos released: Some people attempted blackmailing me-Christabel

Nigerian/Ghanaian actress Christabel Ekeh has disclosed that some people attempted to blackmail her, hence the release of her nude photos which got people talking.

The actress weeks ago released her nude photos on Instagram and a section of Ghanaians were asking if her account was hacked or otherwise.

The actress’ mother Madam Emma Odoom in an interview with Showbiz had said, ‘I think people should pray for my girl instead of circulating her pictures online. I wonder what they hope to achieve by doing that. Why would they engage themselves in things they know nothing about?. My daughter is a very decent girl, she was brought up well and cannot do anything she knows will tarnish her image. She is not sick and does not need any psychological treatment or help as people are saying out there’.

But the actress in a recent interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM explained that some people threatened to release the photos she had sent to someone private and that she had no option than to release the photos to end the blackmail she was faced with.

“I had a group of people who have been threatening to release my nudity that I sent to someone in private,” she told Abeiku Santana.

Christabel explained that her nudity is her pride and not her shame saying she’s not suffering from any psychological problem.

“I would like everyone to know that in as much as its looks shameful or whatever, my nudity is something that I’ve come to learn its my pride and not my shame. This thing has been something that has been boggling me for a while – hanging around my head in everything that I do,” she said.
