Some members of the Coalition of Unemployed Bonded Diploma Nurses on Monday, 24 April, 2017 slept at the compound of the Ministry of Health in Accra at the mercy of mosquitoes and other insects.
The nurses clad in their green and white attire are demanding for their immediate postings to the various government health facilities.
The aggrieved nurses blamed the Akufo-Addo’s government for failing to effect clearance for their postings after the completion of their national service in August 2016.
The Public Relations Officer for the Ministry, Robert Cudjoe called on the nurses to exercise restraint as government works around the clock to process their postings.
The irate group comprises general nurses, psychiatric nurses and midwives.
