Gospel musician Sonnie Badu has prophesied that former President John Dramani Mahama will become a pastor.
The founder of Rockhill Church, based in the United States, made the prediction in an Instagram post. He stated that Mahama's political comeback has been accomplished but that one more step remains for him—to be ordained as a pastor.
Now that His Excellency has fulfilled the comeback mission, there is one more hurdle to overcome; call it a prophecy. His Excellency will soon be ordained as a pastor
John Mahama’s return to power has sparked widespread conversation in Ghana. Many believe his comeback is a rescue mission to restore the nation following challenges faced during the tenure of the previous government.
The gospel musician, a multiple award winner, concluded his post by congratulating Mahama on his near transformation into a man of God. He added that Mahama might be the first pastor-president in Ghana’s history.
He might become the first pastor to serve as a president. Congratulations in advance
The second coming of John Mahama
John Mahama made history by becoming Ghana’s first president under the 4th Republic to lose an election and later return to office after two subsequent attempts. After losing the 2020 elections to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Mahama contested again in 2024, defeating Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President, in a landslide victory.
Mahama was sworn in as the 6th president of the 4th Republic of Ghana on January 7, 2025. The ceremony, presided over by the Chief Justice of Ghana, Gertrude Torkornoo, took place at the Black Star Square in Accra.
Previously, John Mahama served as president from January 7, 2013, to January 6, 2017. His historic comeback is being celebrated as a pivotal moment in Ghanaian political history.
