Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been named the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month winner for February 2026.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian international earned the fan-voted accolade for his exquisite half-volley during the Foxes' away clash against Birmingham City at St Andrew's on 7 February 2026.
The award-winning strike showcased Fatawu's technical brilliance. After a Birmingham clearance fell his way on the edge of the box, the winger displayed clever chest control to settle the ball before unleashing a perfectly timed half-volley that flew into the net.
This marks Fatawu’s second Goal of the Month trophy of the 2025/26 season, following his previous win in August 2025 for a solo effort against Charlton Athletic.

Upon receiving the award, Fatawu expressed pride but remained focused on the team's relegation battle.
"Winning this award gives me confidence and makes me want to do more for the team," he told EFL media. "I always try to score and give assists, so it is nice when your hard work pays off".
Fatawu’s February form was a highlight in a prolific campaign where he has already recorded 9 goals and 7 assists in 37 appearances.
His consistent excellence, including a record-breaking 65-yard goal in December, has seen his market value rise to approximately €24 million as top European clubs like Atletico Madrid reportedly monitor his progress.
