English-Ghanaian forward Sean Adarkwa was the hero for Wealdstone as his first-half goal helped seal a dramatic 3â2 victory over Tamworth at Grosvenor Vale.
With the hosts trailing 2â1 after Stefan Mols and Ben Acquaye had scored for the visitors, Adarkwa levelled the game on 44 minutes, finishing coolly from close range to make it 2â2 before the break.
Wealdstone had earlier hit back through Dylan Kadji’s 29th-minute strike, and they completed the turnaround in the second half when Micah Obiero struck in the 68th minute to put them 3â2 ahead.
Adarkwa continued to battle up front until he was replaced in the 89th minute, having led the line tirelessly and given Tamworth’s defence constant problems.
The goal adds to a solid National League campaign for Adarkwa, who now has 21 league appearances with 5 goals and 0 assists in 2025/26. The win keeps Wealdstone moving in the right direction after a mixed run of recent form.
Next up for Adarkwa and his teammates is another home test, as Wealdstone host Solihull Moors in the National League on Saturday, March 14.
