Hohoe United duo Maxwell Agyemang and Francis Odoom have been named in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League Team of the Week (ToTW) after starring in the team’s Week 25 victory over league leaders Medeama SC.
The pair played key roles as Hohoe United produced a strong display to defeat Medeama, earning recognition for their contributions in the latest Team of the Week selection.
Agyemang was included among the defenders after delivering a solid performance at the back to help his side contain the league leaders. His defensive discipline and composure were vital in ensuring Hohoe United protected their advantage throughout the match.
In midfield, Francis Odoom also earned a place in the selection following an influential showing. The midfielder controlled the tempo of the game and contributed significantly to Hohoe United’s overall dominance during the encounter.
Elsewhere, Karela United goalkeeper Daniel Afadwu was named between the posts after helping his side secure a narrow 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko.
The defensive line for the week also features Mathias Van Amagbe of Young Apostles, Christian Owusu of Dreams FC, and Patrick Mensah of Aduana FC.
In midfield, Francis Oteng of Basake Holy Stars, Setsofia Aqetey of Vision FC, Samed Kyei of FC Samartex, Michael Ephson of Heart of Lions, and Emmanuel Annor of Nations FC were also recognised for their performances.
The Team of the Week highlights the standout players across the league following another competitive round of matches in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
