Ghana Premier League club FC Samartex have announced that youth team head coach Eric Bekoe has been suspended for two weeks and docked a month’s salary for insubordination and breach of club regulations.
The club, early in the week, temporarily suspended the former Ghana international and scheduled him for a hearing before the disciplinary committee over various allegations levelled against him.

On Thursday, FC Samartex announced that Bekoe has been found guilty of 3 out of the 4 charges levelled against him by the club.
As punishment, he has been handed a two-week suspension and is also to forfeit one month's salary.
“This is to notify the public that, after appearing before the club's disciplinary committee, Eric Bekoe was found guilty of 3 out of the 4 charges levelled against him by the club.
“Subsequently, the DC has imposed a two-week suspension on Mr Bekoe. Additionally, he is to forfeit one month's salary, which will be deducted over two months. He shall sign a bond to be of good behaviour,” FC Samartex said in a statement signed by club chairman Chief Inspector (Rtd) Vincent Bebli.
Meanwhile, the disciplinary committee of the Ghana Premier League club has entreated all employees and all its subsidiaries to, as much as possible, operate within the rules of engagement and to respect the club's structures and procedures.
