Karela United youngster Bless Ege has completed a move to Mexican Premier League outfit Queretaro FC in the current transfer window.
The enterprising winger is joining Queretaro FC on a season-long loan from the Ghana Premier League outfit on the back of his scintillating performance for Karela United. Ege departed Ghana on Wednesday to embark on a new challenge in the North American country.
The move marks rapid international leap for Ege, who only joined the Ghana Premier League side at the beginning of the current 2025/26 season.
During his brief stint with the Pride and Passion Boys, he quickly made his mark, finding the back of the net four times in 15 matches.
Ege gained prominence last season after inspiring Division One League side, Golden Kick to an impressive FA Cup final, a performance that made him one of the most sought-after domestic talents.
He attracted interest from several top Ghanaian clubs, including Hearts of Oak, before ultimately signing with Karela United at the start of the campaign.
His direct style, pace, and knack for delivering in big moments are the attributes that have now earned him this opportunity abroad.
For Karela United, the departure of a player they signed with such expectation so recently is a significant development, as they will now have to adjust their squad accordingly.
