Medeama Sporting Club head coach Ibrahim Tanko is targeting a win against Basake Holy Stars in the team’s next fixture in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The Tarkwa-based outfit currently sits second in the league standings with 26 points, one behind leaders Aduana FC and a game in hand.
Set to return to action on Monday, December 22, Ibrahim Tanko has disclosed that his Medeama SC side has prepared very well and will fight for a win against Holy Stars.
“We are preparing against any team almost the same because I always say there is no small team in the league. Anyone can beat any team on a good day, so we are preparing well. We hope that our boys will do the needful so that we keep the points here,” Ibrahim Tanko told Medi TV.
The upcoming Week 15 fixture between Medeama SC and Basake Holy Stars will kick off at 4 pm on Monday at TnA Stadium.
A win for the Yellow and Mauves could propel them to the summit of the Ghana Premier League standings, improving their chances of clinching the league title at the end of the campaign.
