Jordan Ayew converted a penalty, and Fatawu Issahaku provided the assist in Leicester City's 2-2 draw at Ashton Gate against Bristol City.
Ayew started and played the full 90, while Issahaku lasted 84 minutes and was lively on the right.
Leicester looked sharp early and took the lead when Ayew coolly slotted home from the spot after Stephy Mavididi was fouled. The visitors doubled their advantage before half-time thanks to a neat finish created by Issahaku, sending travelling fans into a hopeful excitement. Bristol City hit back after the break, forcing Leicester onto the defensive and testing Jakub Stolarczyk with a string of efforts.
The closing stages turned frantic. Bristol City grabbed a late header to level, and both sides pushed for a winner in added time. Ayew kept probing and almost snatched victory with a late effort, while substitutes stirred the game.
The point leaves both teams with work to do.
Leicester City will play Ipswich in their next game on December 13th.
