Medeama S.C. coach Ibrahim Tanko beleives their second-half changes won them the game against Berekum Chelsea.
The Yellow and Mavue side rallied from a 1-0 to secure a 2-1 win against Samuel Boadu's side in the Matchday 13 games at the TNA Park on Sunday.
Speaking after the game, Ibrahim Tanko first explained his side’s first-half performance.
"We controlled the game in the first half. We won many duels and second balls, created chances, but unfortunately, we could not score. The goal against us was also a result of our mistake.
"But in the second half, we spoke to the players and made two changes. I think the team responded well to the changes we made and we deservedly got the goals," he concluded.
Medeama have now moved two points clear at the top with 26 points and will next come up against defending champions Bibiani GoldStars in the Matchday 14 games at the DUN's Park.
