VIDEO: Kevin Danso links up with Ghanaian musician Black Sherif in London
Austrian-born Ghanaian defender Kevin Danso has met talented musician Black Sherif following the signer's visit to London.Black Sherif, known in real life as Mohammed Ismail, is in London preparing ahead of the tour of his latest album, Iron Boy.During his meeting with Danso, the two opened up on various aspects of life, including their cultural background and how their lives was influenced by their upbringing.Danso, who was born in Austria to Ghanaian parents, learnt a lot about his roots through his mum and dad as he and his siblings were made to speak Twi, a popular language in the West African nation, at home.The Tottenham Hotspurs defender also disclosed how his father, who was from Tafo, migrated to Austria in the early nineties in search of opportunities.Meanwhile, Black Sherif, a native of Konongo Zongo, grew up in different homes after his father travelled to Greece, leaving him and his mother, who also joined her husband when the musician was only ten.According to Black Sherif, his music style fuses various genres because of the different places he grew up, but gave a lot of credit to his aunty for his upbringing.The duo ended up previewing music from Black Sherif's latest project.
