No prima facie case found in petition for removal of Justice Yonny Kulendi  

Mr Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, the Chief Justice has informed President John Dramani Mahama that there has been no prima facie case found in the petition calling for the removal of Mr Justice Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi as Justice of the Supreme Court.  

Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in-charge of Government Communications, in statement said the President, acting on the advice of the Chief Justice, had since communicated the findings to the petitioner, Mr Daniel Marfo Ofori-Atta.  

Mr Ofosu said the President upon receiving the petition forwarded it to the Chief Justice to determine whether there was a prima facie case in accordance with Article 146 of the Constitution.  

He said the Chief Justice wrote to the President indicating that the petition did not disclose a prima facie case.
