Presidential Candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign, has taken an inspiring turn as he braves the rain to connect with Ghanaians in various constituencies on his campaign tour.
His recent visit to Amenfi West, Central, and East Constituencies in the Western Region was met with warm enthusiasm from the chiefs, churches, leaders, and people, who welcomed his bold solutions for Ghana’s challenges.
This isn’t the first time Dr. Bawumia has shown his dedication to connecting with the people, as he, on previous occasions, defied heavy downpours to engage in a campaign and engage with the community.
His commitment to listening to the concerns and suggestions of Ghanaians has earned him admiration and support.
In a post on his Facebook page, he expressed gratitude to the residents, by stating; “My thanks to the Chiefs, churches, leaders and people of Amenfi West, Central, and East Constituencies for the warm, enthusiastic welcome on Sunday”
“Through the sun and rain, you made your welcome my bold solutions for Ghana’s challenges. Your contributions and suggestions during our engagements are deeply appreciated”
Dr. Bawumia’s campaign focuses on uplifting the poor and vulnerable in society.
He has consistently advocated for policies that benefit this demographic, such as the Free Senior High School policy, which has saved countless families from the burden of secondary education expenses.
His desire to be the patron of Lepers Aide Ghana and make dialysis free for persons below 18 and above 60 years further demonstrates his compassion.
Digitalization for All
The Vice President’s digitalization drive aims to eliminate the “to whom you know” syndrome, which often hinders the poor from accessing essential services.
By leveraging technology, Dr. Bawumia envisions a Ghana where everyone has equal opportunities, regardless of social status.
