The Saturday live eviction night on TV3‘s Perfect Match Xtra Season Two was a nail-biting affair, filled with tension and emotional highs and lows for both housemates and fans.
The 14 contestants, all new in the house, spent the week engaging in a variety of tasks and challenges from stage plays to outdoor events, all under the watchful eye of ‘Big Mama’, their guiding authority figure.
Fans who followed the contestants’ every move around the clock, cast their votes for their favourite housemates, who provided plenty drama to keep them entertained and engaged during the eviction episode.
Tracy Annan, a 23-year-old lady with a degree in Human Resources (HR), and Frankie Touch, a 33-year-old Nigerian from Anambra state, found themselves facing eviction for the first time.
However, they managed to escape the chopping block thanks to Big Mama’s intervention. Despite being a model and professional massage therapist respectively, Frankie Touch and Tracy Annan struggled to form connections with the other housemates and lacked a compelling storyline, resulting in a lack of fan votes.
In the aftermath, some viewers questioned the show’s production for revealing Tracy’s tactics to stay in the game, leading to her being targeted by fellow housemates for eviction.
One viewer, Coolchic, expressed frustration: “Why did they expose Tracy’s strategy of befriending others to avoid nominations? Now everyone is nominating her. That was her game plan and shouldn’t have been revealed. Not fair on the girl #PerfectMatchExtra.”
Season Two of Perfect Match Xtra promises to be exciting with non-stop entertainment. Contestants for this season are Jeychrys, Droiid, Kwame Sage, Jason, Drill, Benjamin, Frankie Touch, Darlyne, Jessica, Blessing, Dellki, Thessy, Tracy, and Rose.
