Songstress Mzbel has reportedly secured a new deal with Wontumi Multimedia, owned by prominent New Patriotic Party figure, Chairman Wontumi.
The announcement, however, comes amid the alleged departure of two influential showbiz personalities, Michy and Delay, from the Wontumi Multimedia network.
Delay, who had been hosting the ‘Drivetime’ show on Wontumi FM since May 2022, is said to have officially parted ways with the media house after a year of association. Cindy Cash, a well-known TV presenter at Movement TV and a close associate of Chairman Wontumi, is purportedly named as Delay’s successor. Similarly, Michy, the host of a show on Movement TV, reportedly made her final appearance in June this year.
Recent reports suggest that Cindy Cash has seamlessly taken over from Delay, evident in viral videos circulating on social media where she occupies Delay’s hosting seat.
In a surprising turn of events, Mzbel announced her new employment contract with Wontumi Media in a video, simultaneously throwing jabs at undisclosed individuals. “I am here to sign an employment contract. Very soon, Ghana will know. As for me, I am employable. Not like others. This is really a big deal,” she expressed.
Both Delay and Michy are yet to officially confirm their exit from Wontumi Multimedia, leaving fans curious about their next career moves.
