The Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors today [Friday] donated GHc 50,000 to the Burns Unit of the 37 Military Hospitals in Accra, Ghana.
The Chamber’s CEO, Senyo Hosi, noted that “the unit is a very critical one both for our industry and the citizenry” hence the need for the unit to be well resourced to help support the victims.

Receiving the donation on the behalf of the burns unit of the hospital, the Brigadier General M.A. Yeboah Agyapong expressed the hospital’s gratitude to the chamber.
He affirmed that the donation was very much needed to cater for victims of various explosions in the country, including victims from the June 3 fire and flood disaster at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle who are still receiving treatment at the unit.

Brigadier General Yeboah Agyapong also used the opportunity to call on the general public to extend a helping hand to the unit to enable them effectively cater for victims of burns.
The chamber had in 2016, also donated to the unit following a gas explosion at La.
