…for sustainable growth
Entrepreneurship is a driving force for economic empowerment, and Standard Chartered Bank is committed to equipping young business owners with the tools they need to succeed.
As part of the Ready for Inclusive Sustainable Employment and Entrepreneurship (RISE/E) programme under Futuremakers by Standard Chartered, the Bank recently hosted an impactful training session focused on Sales and Marketing, critical skills for business growth in today’s digital economy.
The session, led by business executives of the Bank, covered Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Online Advertising, providing entrepreneurs with real-world strategies to enhance their visibility, attract customers, and scale their businesses.
With participants spanning diverse industries such as manufacturing, health tech, real estate, food processing, and renewable energy, the training was designed to offer practical, industry-specific solutions to help micro businesses thrive in the digital space.
Through interactive discussions and hands-on learning, attendees gained valuable insights into leveraging digital platforms to reach broader markets and drive sustainable growth.
The initiative underscores Standard Chartered’s commitment to fostering youth entrepreneurship and financial inclusion, ensuring that young business owners, especially those from marginalised communities, are not left behind in the evolving business landscape.
The RISE/E programme, designed to benefit over 200 young entrepreneurs within three years, places a strong emphasis on inclusivity.
With 50% of slots reserved for women and persons with disabilities, the initiative ensures that every aspiring entrepreneur, regardless of background or ability, has access to the support they need to grow their business, create jobs, and contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s economy.
Standard Chartered remains dedicated to building a more inclusive and sustainable future for young entrepreneurs. By providing the right skills, mentorship, and financial support, the Bank is powering the next generation of changemakers.
