22Bet Ghana has completed and handed over a robust and accessible water facility at Awutu Samsamsu Number 2, a farming community in the Awutu-Senya West District of the Central Region. Delivered by the THX 22 Foundation, the philanthropic arm of 22 Bet, the project seeks to serve more than 500 locals without access to potable water.
The completion of this initiative marks a significant departure from the community’s previous reliance on unsafe water sources, specifically an open stream at the end outskirts of the town. This new water facility, therefore, promises to enhance the overall well-being of the inhabitants, fostering a healthier and more sustainable environment.
In a brief speech to the chiefs, elders and residents who welcomed the 22Bet and THX 22 Foundation teams, Mr Dickson Assan, Accountant 22Bet Ghana, explained that 22Bet and THX 22 Foundation are organizations that are mindful of their discretionary responsibilities to the communities and the people they serve.
“We identified this community three months ago, and we are glad this project is ready for use by this community. Putting a smile on the faces of people in dire need of basic social amenities resonates with us as an organization”.
Receiving the generous donation on behalf of the community, the Chief, Nana Abaka II, expressed his sincerest gratitude to the leadership of 22Bet and the THX Foundation, adding that “the people of Awutu Samsamsu No. 2 are immensely grateful for this kind gesture from 22 Bet Ghana and the THX 22 Foundation. Our community has struggled with perennial water shortage, often worsened during the harmattan season”.
He then registered his hope that the project would resolve the issue and called on his people to maintain the facility to serve them long-term. He also appealed to other corporate bodies to come to their aid because the community needs other amenities like schools and a marketplace.
The impact extends beyond immediate convenience and is a testament to the possibilities that emerge when corporate entities invest in the welfare of the communities they serve.
As 22BET.com.gh continues to be a prominent player in the Ghanaian betting industry, THX 22 Foundation’s dedication to corporate social responsibility goes hand in hand with the company’s broader goal of being a force for positive change in the communities they serve. Beyond odds and winnings, 22BET is on a mission, and THX 22 Foundation is the driving force behind their commitment to solving problems and uplifting societies in Ghana
