One Paul Edward List, an Australian national, and CEO of BCM Ghana, is embroiled in a legal saga as he is alleged to have pulled a gun in public and threatened a Ghanaian citizen, threatening to kill him.
The threat to a person’s life charge slapped on Mr List follows a report made against him at a Police Station in Accra after he pulled a gun to kill at an apartment known as Vanguard Heights Apartments in Cantonments, Accra.
We were shocked to have sighted the proof of a video and are still in utter disbelief that he could have the temerity to do that in Ghana.
But the video perused by our team shared on social media platform X showed that indeed, this man was bold and had no regard for any other person, especially blacks who are Ghanaians.

What at all did this Ghanaian do that he deserved to be threatened of his life being taken at gunpoint by this Paul Edward List?
Even more shocking is the fact that he was receiving encouragement from some other Ghanaians, including the Vanguard Heights Apartment’s security. Surely, these Ghanaians ought to be charged as accomplices for their appalling behaviour towards another human, and Ghanaian for that matter. Ghanaians and indeed Africans need to watch this full video and decide for themselves if this white man would get away with this against another white man or even in his own country. Why are we allowing this? This is sickening!
This same man Paul Edward List is alleged and reported to police for assaulting some workers of his and even stripped the person completely naked because he suspected the the person had stolen his 300 cedis.
Even if the person took the money without admitting as we are not fetched with the full facts, what right have you to take the law into your hands and dehumanise your fellow human being in that manner?
What can we say other than to conclude that this is a white man who doesn’t respect blacks and is doing what he wants basically in our country. This indeed cannot happen in Togo, or Nigeria our next-door neighbour’s backyard. He would have either been deported or left the country himself never to look back or wanting to ever come back.
This country is indeed too free for such characters, who are even able to get lawyers to defend them.
This man Paul Edward List indeed has a lot of impudence. Even though we can see him very clearly in the video see link https://twitter.com/MTruth77/status/1757066170199314691 he avoided reporting to the police for weeks, being protected by his lawyer when he was reported and invited.
The Police who we must say worked very hard to obtain a warrant for the video we understand (as management at vanguard heights initially would not cooperate with them) proceeded to court upon sighting the above video and confiscating the gun after his eventual arrest.
The Accra Circuit Court where the case was sent presided over by Judge Adelaide Abui Keddey has determined a prima facie case against Mr List, but his lawyers have signalled challenging the case, despite the overwhelming evidence.
The question remains – why is such a dangerous man is still walking around as a free man?
