Accra recently hosted the 2024 edition of the Positive Movement Conference, meticulously organised by the Positive Movement Training Institute under the leadership of Ohemaa Adjei Andoh.
As an acclaimed Certified Transformational Coach affiliated with Coach Masters Academy, Andoh spearheaded the event with the overarching goal of ensuring that participants departed feeling revitalised, empowered and equipped with the essential skills for both personal and professional advancement.
More than 120 participants from Takoradi, Tarkwa, Kumasi and Abidjan attended the event held at the University of Ghana’s ISSER Conference Hall, themed ‘Start Right, Be Right’.
The event featured keynote speakers Dzigbordzi Kwaku-Dosoo, an Executive Coach and Founder of the DCG group, and Gwen Gyimah-Addo, a Marketing Strategist and owner of the leading Hair brand, Hair Senta. The first panel discussion, titled ‘Finding your Light and Shining your Light’, was moderated by Dr. Khadija Owusu – an award-winning leader, international speaker and junior doctor.
Panelists included Eno Quagraine, a Marketing Strategist and Founder & CEO of Talkative Mom; Ama Osei-Sarpong, an Oil and Gas professional; Edward Acquah, an award-winning MC and Real Estate broker; Maukeni P. Roberto, a communications and marketing executive; and Sydney Scott Sam, an award-winning entrepreneur and brand marketing leader. They discussed their journey in finding purpose and how they use it to serve others.
The second panel discussion, titled ‘Shining your Light in your Business’, was led by Antoinette Gyan, a Career Coach and Communications Consultant. Panelists included Edward Asare, a Digital Marketer, Media Expert, PR Professional, Blogger, Publicist and Influencer; Amanda Akushie, a customer experience management consultant and digital marketing expert; Eugenia Agyeiwaa Boadi, a Certified Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Impact Strategist; Solomon S. Agbemenya, a certified Project Management Professional (PMI) and Certified Project Management Consultant (IPMP, Ghana); and Patty Sangmor, a Ghanaian Marketing Strategist & Business Coach.
The event provided excellent networking opportunities, leaving participants enlightened and empowered to tap into their best selves. The Positive Movement Conference is set to be an annual event, with the 2024 session being the inaugural edition.
