After two years of successful operations in agri-production business, the management and staff of Southern Ridge Farms Ltd. held its top management to a strategic planning exercise on Farmers’ Day to position itself ready for the 2024 production year.
Driving on the theme ‘Scaling for Sustainable Growth, Efficiency and Profitability’, the company aims at aligning its culture and leadership to strategically position itself to take advantage of becoming a market leader in the production and distribution of agri-products for the Ghanaian local market.
Scaling and positioning for efficiency and profitability through cultural change, adaptability and the application of innovative approaches and methods, the company pledges to cut down on its productivity cost and maintained that it will enhance its distribution and customer experience strategies, provide innovative products and solutions to become a market leader of choice.
Speaking to the Managing Director, Mr. Jude Andoh, he reiterated his firm commitment to invest in digital and innovative solutions in the coming years to build the logistical and staff capacities of the company to take advantage of the huge deficit in producing locally produced poultry, pork and other products. He maintained that the company is scaling up its production budget up to 80 percent to drive its competitive advantage. The Production Manager, Mr. Cornelius, added that the company is ready to meet its production capacity target for 2024, maintaining that it would partner with several local out-growers to satisfy the demands by its customers.
The strategic session, which was facilitated by Discovery Leadership Consulting, provided the opportunity for the executives of the business to discuss other sustainable and compliant-related issues of concern to the company. This enabling platform and session equipped the executives with the needed skills and resources to take advantage of the opportunities and prospects within the farming industry.
Southern Ridge Farms promises to offer competitive rates on its pineapple, poultry and egg products; and create innovative service packages at an affordable cost to meet its client’s needs; and satisfaction this festive season and come 2024.
