
Popular Nigerian actress, Rita Dominic, has denied reports that she prevented certain media persons from filming at the recent birthday celebration of Ghanaian businessman Richard Nii-Armah Quaye.
Rita Dominic was a guest at the now famous and publicized plush party alongside fellow Nigerian celebrities including Ramsey Nouah and Ini Edo.
However, after the party, reports claims that she had interrupted media coverage at the event.
Taking to her Instagram story on March 24, 2025, Rita Dominic dismissed the claims as entirely false, emphasising that she respects the press and understands their role in her public life.
The award-winning actress stated that it would be unreasonable for her, as a public figure, to prevent journalists from doing their jobs.
She urged the public to refrain from spreading unfounded stories.
“Duhh! A person who does the kind of job I do and is out in a public place would not stop the press from doing their job. That’s lame. Stop making up stories that don’t make sense,” she wrote.
Popular business mogul, Richard Nii-Armah Quaye was the talk of town over the weekend after holding a luxurious 40th birthday.
The event, hashtagged #RNAQ40 took place at the Independence Square on March 22, 2025 was attended by a pool of influencers, celebrities and wealthy business men from across Africa and beyond.
Richard Nii-Armah Quaye on his 40th birthday decided to flex his wealth by inviting celebrities from all walks of life and countries including neighbouring Nigeria to grace the occasion.
Nigerian actors Ramsey Nouah, Mofe Damijo, and Shaffy Bello were spotted exchanging pleasantries with Quaye at his birthday party.
Actresses Rita Dominic, Ini Edo and Toke Makinwa were also spotted at the event with Toke hosting the event together with Joselyn Dumas.
