In a remarkable display of community spirit, HS Fashion College has contributed a variety of crucial supplies to bolster the upcoming “Boafo Y’3na” program organized by Onua Foundation.
The thoughtful donation package features handcrafted garments, baby essentials, hygiene products, refreshments, and cleaning supplies, all destined to brighten the lives of children in need.
The annual “Boafo Y’3na” outreach, scheduled for March 29, 2025, at Osu Children’s Home, aims to create meaningful experiences for approximately 500 vulnerable children through nourishment, clothing distribution, and engaging activities.
“As we celebrate Ghana month, we’ve made it our mission to give back meaningfully,” noted Mr. Godson Asare, HS College’s Board Secretary, during the handover ceremony. “Our students poured their creativity into crafting these garments, while our administration supplemented with additional necessities. It’s our way of embodying true Ghanaian values through action rather than words.”
On accepting the contribution, Abu Issah Monnie, Head of Onua Foundation remarked: “We really appreciate the support from HS College. The quality of these handmade garments will transform how these children see themselves. Such thoughtfulness ensures they’ll blend seamlessly with their peers without the stigma often attached to orphanhood. We anticipate a truly special gathering on March 29th, thanks in part to HS College’s generosity.”
HS College stands as a respected educational institution in Ghana, strategically located at Gbawe-Mallam Flower Junction.
