Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his commitment to addressing the economic challenges that Ghanaians are saddled with at the moment if he wins to become president again.
Ghanaians go to the polls on December 7 to elect a new president and Members of Parliament to steer the affairs of the country for the next four years starting January 6, 2025.
Ahead of the polls, Mr Mahama, also a former President, said the NDC has a comprehensive plan and strategy including the 24-hour policy proposal to tackle the challenges.
In a post on his Facebook page, Mr Mahama said “We have the plans to fix Ghana. We will remove unfair taxes, reset the economy and create new jobs.”
He further stated that “The NDC will deploy cost-effective strategies to expand infrastructure, upgrade existing medical facilities, train and motivate health workers to improve healthcare delivery.
“Supported by the 24-Hour Economy, we will ensure better healthcare for all Ghanaians.”
