Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has announced a restructuring of its Interim Management Committee (IMC) in alignment with a directive from His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Manhyia Palace.
In a statement issued on November 25, 2024, the club revealed that Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum would no longer serve as a member of the IMC.
This decision is aimed at allowing Dr. Ogum to fully concentrate on his primary role as Head Coach, focusing on leading the team to greater heights and advancing its sporting objectives.
“This strategic adjustment reflects our commitment to optimizing the club’s operations and ensuring alignment with the vision set forth by Manhyia. Dr. Ogum will continue to spearhead the team’s on-field efforts, while the IMC remains focused on providing effective leadership and administrative support,” the statement read.
The club emphasized its dedication to excellence and reiterated its gratitude to supporters for their unwavering backing during this transition.
Asante Kotoko appealed to fans to remain united in the shared vision of achieving sustained success for the club.
