A fire outbreak has occurred at a warehouse on the Spintex road in Accra.
Videos available to 3news.com show personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) battling the fire.
The inferno is suspected to have occurred in the evening of Monday November 11.
In an interview with Alfred Ocansey on Ghana Tonight, a Public Relations Officer at the GNFS Public Affairs Department, Alex King Nartey said the fire men would endeavour to bring the fire under control.
“We were informed about the fire outbreak a while ago. Our men got to the scene and have been trying to prevent the fire from spreading to other structures,” he said.
“It is a warehouse, and the fire is quite intense, but we will do everything in our power to bring it under control,” Mr Nartey assured.
Mr Nartey could not say, immediately, what caused the fire. Investigations continue.
