Alhaji Hamidu Abubakari, a loyal supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper West Region has generously handed over three pickup trucks to the party’s Regional Chairman and his Executives, aiming to enhance their campaign efforts in the region.
This timely donation comes as the December elections draw near.
The vehicles, which will be returned to the donor after the polls, will facilitate the party’s outreach programs, rallies, and door-to-door campaigns. This strategic move is expected to bolster the NDC’s visibility and engagement with constituents as it is poised to win all 11 seats across the region.
This gesture demonstrates the commitment and dedication of NDC supporters to ensure the party’s success in the upcoming elections.
The Upper West Regional branch of the NDC has been actively preparing for the December elections, strengthening its regional structures as well as embarking on strategic campaigns.
Speaking at a brief engagement to hand over the vehicles on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the party’s regional office, Alhaji Hamidu Abubakari re-echoed the need to support the party.
Regional Chairman of the NDC, Abdul–Nasir Saani, affectionately called Chairman Bunas, expressed gratitude for the support and assured that the vehicles will be used judiciously to achieve the target.
As the campaign season intensifies, the NDC will likely continue to mobilize resources and rally its supporters to secure a strong mandate in the polls. With the election just around the corner, every effort counts, and this donation is a significant boost to the party’s regional campaign.
