The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr Mahamdu Baswumia has said the interactive engagement he had with the youth on Sunday, November 3 offered him an opportunity to share his transformative youth-centred policies with the young people and future of Ghana.
He said that the development, welfare, and progress of the youth will be one of his utmost priorities as President.
Dr Bawumia added that his transformative youth policies will be anchored on education, skills training and creating a friendly economic environment for millions of jobs through government and the private sector.
He also reiterated his commitment to leveraging technology to create more jobs for the youth by training one million young Ghanaians in digital skills, which will create opportunities for them in both Ghana and abroad.
“December’s election is about the youth and the future of Ghana, and I urge young people of our country, to choose a leader who appreciates the ingenuity and limitless capabilities of the Ghanaian youth, and a leader whose vision aligns with global trends.
“I thank the thousands of young Ghanaians who joined us live in all the regions, and those who watched on television. I appreciate your time and contributions. Together, we shall make it possible,” Dr Bawumai wrote on Facebook on Monday November 4.
