The UEFA Certificate in Football Management (CFM) is designed for individuals involved in the administrative, operational, and management side of football clubs, federations, and leagues.
The CFM focuses on areas like strategic management, marketing, communication, finance, event management, and governance.
It’s meant to equip participants with the skills necessary to manage and operate within football organizations, rather than directly coaching players.
The UEFA certificate in football management is a testament to Essien’s commitment to staying involved in the beautiful game. This qualification will enable him to navigate the complexities of football administration, equipping him with the expertise to make informed decisions and strive for success in his future endeavours.
Essien is currently an individual talent coach for the Danish Superliga team FC Nordsjaelland, where he guides young players with his wealth of experience and tactical insight.
The former Chelsea, AC Milan and Real Madrid star won the Champions League, Premier League trophies and others during his playing time.
