The NPP flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has criticised the NDC for depriving the people of Adaklu of development for the sixteen years they ruled this country.
Dr Bawumia emphasised that under the NPP’s eight years, roads have been constructed and tarred and other developmental projects have been done in the community.
He called on the chiefs, the clergy and the community to vote for the NPP in this year’s elections to continue with the developmental projects.
Dr mahamudu Bawumia was speaking on day three of his tour of the Volta Region.
“When the NDC was in government for sixteen years, they didn’t build the road for you, but we are making a lot of effort in many many areas. We have built a youth resource center, a stadium here in Adaklu, we have brought a District Police Command, we have built a magistrate court and we are building the Agenda 111 Hospital as it is done in every district,” he said.
Dr Bawumia said, “We believe that Adaklu will do better under the NPP and under Dr Bawumia because we are sure of what we can do. The evidence is clear. Togbega, togbuioo, mamaooo, our revered priest, chief imams and chiefs, our philosophy of broad-based development is on course”.
The Paramount Chief of Adaklu, Togbi Gborbi Asta V requested the Vice President spearhead the construction of the Agenda 111 Hospital in the community.
