A law student and latest Queen of the Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB), Nihad Titiaka Oases has reacted to her victory in the just-ended pageantry.
Speaking in an interview on TV3’s The Afternoon Show, Titiaka said she was not sure of winning the contest although she believed in her capabilities to emerge victorious.
“I am grateful to everyone out there that supported me in making history together… I wasn’t sure but I had the belief and I just decided to work for it. It all starts with having that dream.
“It’s a dream come true,” she remarked expressing her long-standing aspirations to wear the crown, take home the cash and brand new SUV car.
The Savannah Region’s representative in the pageantry had initially thought of abandon auditions for the contest as she was writing her exams at the time.
However, the latest GMB Queen said “it took the Grace of God” to make it through all the stages of the auditions.
I was writing exams so I was finding excuses for myself not to even come for the auditions in the first place. But I decided to take that bold step and by the Grace of God I’m here now wearing the crown,” she said on Monday, October 7.
Titiaka believed in her capabilities and strive hard for the crown with determination to succeed.
“I am grateful to everyone out there that supported me in making history together… I wasn’t sure but I had the belief and I just decided to work for it. It all starts with having that dream.
“Honestly, I wasn’t sure if will be able to do this in the first place. Ghana’s Most Beautiful is the biggest platform and I asked myself ‘Do you have what it takes to wear the crown’, to perform throughout thirteen weeks. I questioned myself a lot and it took the Grace of God for me to even come for the auditions,” she stated.
Titiaka represented the Savannah Region in the contest and emerged winner of the Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 edition.
The grand finale of the prestigious beauty contest was held on Sunday, October 6 at the National Theatre.
Her victory achieved through hard work and determination is an inspiration to many young girls as she makes history as the first hijab-wearing Queen of the contest.
It’s also the first time the crown has been won in the Savannah Region.
Titiaka was awarded with GHC15,000 cash prize in addition with a brand-new vehicle, a trip abroad, courtesy Global Winds and Travel tour, TECNO Phantom B2, hamper and other rewards from sponsors.
