The Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS) , Osei Assibey Antwi, has expressed confidence in the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), saying they are poised to lead the party to victory in the 2024 general elections.
Mr Osei Assibey highlighted Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s significant contributions to Ghana’s education sector, mainly through implementation of Free Senior High School (SHS) program.
He further stressed that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh also ensured a stable electricity supply during his tenure at the Energy Ministry.
He said the NPP knows the cost of living has gone up and there are ample economic difficulties in the country. However, even in the heat of global crisis which have hit Ghanaians hard, Ghana has remained very stable.
“We have a Vice President and flagbearer who has his own vision, a vision that aligns with the new challenges and opportunities of the world today and for the future of the youth of Ghana,” he said during a health walk over the weekiend.
He also disclosed that a vote for the Bawumia – NAPO ticket is a vote for the youth of Ghana.
According to him, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia understands the Ghanaian youth and will work for the youth and represent their true aspirations.
“We have witnessed Dr. Bawumia’s strong performance as Vice President of the Republic and we are confident he will guide the youth to realise our potential. It’s a new dawn for the next generation. The choice is yours and I know you will choose for your future,” he added.
