Leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, has promised that his administration will guarantee a situation where there will be “wealth” for people, derived from the millions of jobs that will be created.
This way, he believes citizens will become economically fortified to meet their daily life demands.
In an interview, Nana Bediako explained that under his “16 Industrial Revolution Strategy,” the jobs created will have a significant economic impact on the lives of workers.
He alleged that a large portion of Ghanaians are currently living under what has become known as “hand-to-mouth” and are barely surviving. Though they are working, there is a daily struggle to make ends meet.
In line with his nick name, Freedom, Nana Kwame assured that this phenomenon will change under his government.
“When you create jobs and they don’t translate into wealth for the people, forget it. The ministries, police, and soldiers provide no value… and until we derive value from them, we will most likely need to contract loans to pay them…”
He posited that loans are contracted for investment, where the returns on them are “rather used to pay salaries” and not the other way around. He stressed that this seems to be the current situation in Ghana.
He thinks Ghana is saddled with a myriad of development challenges because its leaders appear not to understand this development principle.
The Founder for the New Force Movement said Ghana has reached a point where it will need a “liberator, a wise and bold leader” who will do the extraordinary.
“… a leadership that will engender a sense of hope, rekindle and heighten an unwavering sense of patriotism, enough to encourage the youth and the next generation to take up the reins of power and serve with truth, honesty, and humility.”
