Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has promised the people of the North East Region to complete the projects that his administration started but have been abandoned by the Akufo-Addo administration in the region.
He also assured that he would continue the ones that he will inherit from President Akufo-Addo if he is voted for the elections.
Mr Mahama said this after criticizing the Akufo-Addo administration for abandoning projects he started in the North East Region.
He assured the people of Gambaga and Nalerigu in the North East Region that he would resume the projects and also complete those started by the Akufo-Addo government if he is voted for in this year’s elections.
Mr Mahama started his campaign tour of the North Region on Wednesday, October 2.
He thanked the people for the warm and brotherly welcome to the region.
“As I assured the chiefs and people during my visits to the Gambaga and Nayiri’s palaces, I will work tirelessly to reset the damaged economy, and ensure the improvement of the living conditions of all Ghanaians.
“It is unfortunate that projects started by my administration remain abandoned. We will resume them and also complete those started by this government,” he wrote on Facebook after the engagement with the chiefs.
