‘What change again?’- Netizens react to David Osei’s comment at NPP manifesto launch

Ghanaians have slammed actor Prince David Osei for his comment during the launch of the New Patriotic Party’s manifesto launch on Sunday, August 18.

David Osei while speaking during the manifesto launch said “There is nothing the alternative [John Mahama] can offer. Vote for Dr. Bawumia to take us to the dreamland. We are voting for change.”

The actor has in the past publicly declared his support for the NPP and on many occasions touted government’s achievement on social media despite his acknowledgement of the economic hardships.

His recent comment has spurred criticism from Ghanaians who have disagreed with the actor considering the current economic difficulties.

One user tweeted: “Sometimes some people just wake up feeling bored and wanna be trolled on social media. How do you make such a statement considering the state of affairs in Ghana?”

Another said: “The same change he and his NPP promised and talked about in 2016, that never materialized?”
