Multiple vehicles belonging to staff of the Ghana Airports Company have been reported damaged by falling trees after downpour on Monday morning.
According to TV3’s reporter at the scene of the incident, Emmanuel Samani, about seven vehicles were damaged around the landing restaurant at airport during the downpour on Monday, May 6.
Samani reports that one person is currently receiving treatment at the airport clinic in Accra due to the sudden incident.
According to an eyewitness account, two huge trees with many trunks fell shortly after a heavy wind during the rainfall on Monday morning.
“We were here this morning exactly five minutes after 8 and the rain started when the wind blow what we saw was the two trees were falling down. They fell on I think seven cars, all of which belonged to staff of the Ghana Airports Company,” an eyewitness narrated.
