Social media users have criticized and backlashed a Nigerian pastor who falsely prophesied that the world will come to an end on April 25.
The pastor, Prophet Metu of ‘No Gree for Satan’ Ministry, in a video post on his X platform on March 19 cautioned believers to prepare for the end of the world as the Lord has revealed such to him.
The pastor claimed that he had received the vision twice from the Lord urging people to take notice of the date for the coming of the Lord.
“On the 25 of April, the world is going to end. if you like take this serious or don’t but it is real,” the pastor claimed.

However, as of April 26, there have been no signs of the world coming to an end with no indication to suggest that the pastor’s prophesy will manifest.
24 hours after April 25, people are going about their normal duties prompting a reference to the ‘fake’ prophesy.
Internet users have since slammed the pastor for spreading false information and putting the name of the Lord in disrepute.
People from diverse religious background have also questioned his faith as a Christian and religious leader.
