Legendary striker Andy Cole has named Andre Onana as Man Utd’s Most valuable Player in the ongoing campaign.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper has had a tough start and faced several backlashes since he switched Inter Milan for record Premier League Champions Manchester United in a £47million move last summer.
Onana’s several high-profile blunders and huge mistakes have cost his team and even led to them crashing out the Champions League.
Interestingly Onana has been forced to save the most shots in the Premier League this season – 120.
Intriugingly, the former Manchester United striker who scored 121 goals for the Red Devils believes the 27-year-old is starting to show his worth in the team and has become a crucial part of Erik ten Hag’s team.

“He’s producing a hell of a lot of saves and many of them are ones that he shouldn’t even have to produce.
“But because United continue to give the ball away in certain areas so easily, the goalkeeper has been their MVP on a lot of occasions. He has unbelievable feet too. Fair play to him because he had a tough start, but now he’s starting to show what a good goalkeeper he is,” he said.
Man United have won just one of their last 7 Premier League games.

Amidst this, Onana would have loved to keep a clean sheet, however his side had to come back twice from behind to steal a point from Bournemouth making it four games without a win for Erik Ten Hag’s team.
