The 8th edition of the EMY Africa magazine has been launched and hosted by the 2023 Man of the Alex Apau Dadey in Accra on Saturday, April 6.
The latest edition of the EMY Africa Magazine features an icon of the entrepreneur and a philanthropist as the cover star, having emerged as the 2023 Man of the Year.
The event was in celebration of entrepreneurship and achievements and philanthropists.
“By winning the awards, what it is supposed to do is to create a platform to inspire the youth, I have been involved in youth entrepreneurship programmes, this is what I do,” Mr Alex Apau Dadey said.
Founder of the EMY Award, Daniel Kojo Soboh, said the EMY Africa Magazine serves as a platform to amplify the voices of those who are driving change in the community.
“We are going to do an expo this year, EMY Africa Expo, that is a new thing that we are doing with the EMY Africa. As I said we always keep evolving, we keep getting better.”
The Group CEO of Media General Limited, Madam Beatrice Agyemang who was adjudged the 2023 ‘WOMAN OF THE YEAR’ at the prestigious EMY Africa Awards event, urged business leaders to innovate and keep pace with the needs of customers.
“It is a fantastic piece put together by the EMY Africa Africa team. I love to see businesses grow, what I want to tell all industries is to learn to anticipate the ever-growing needs of customers.

The EMY Africa Awards, known for celebrating leaders and distinguished gentlemen making an impact in society, makes room to recognise a distinguished female achiever for the ‘WOMAN OF THE YEAR’ Award – the only category reserved for women.
EMY Africa Awards selected Madam Beatrice Agyemang for the award having recognized her inspirational rise through the ranks from her journey as a reporter, to her current position as Group CEO of one of the largest and leading Media Organisations in Ghana, which is worth celebrating.
