Ghana winger Ibrahim Osman continued to impress, finding the back of the net once again for FC Nordsjaelland as they secured a notable victory against FC Copenhagen in the Danish Superliga.
In a highly anticipated clash at the Right to Dream Park, the 19-year-old showcased his prowess by opening the scoring for Nordsjaelland after 22 minutes. Osman capitalised on a pass from Swedish defender Daniel Svensson to give his team an early advantage.
Nordsjaelland extended their lead shortly after, with Danish forward Marcus Ingvartsen finding the back of the net in the 29th minute.
Despite a missed penalty from Swedish teenager Roony Bardghji on the stroke of halftime, Copenhagen managed to pull one back early in the second half through Icelandic teenager Orri Oskarsson.
Osman’s impactful performance earned him a substitution in the 88th minute, making way for Ivorian midfielder Mario Dorgeles. With this goal, Osman’s tally for the season now stands at three goals and five assists in 23 appearances for Nordsjaelland.
