Ghanaian actress and media personality, Regina Adu Sarfowah has revealed the terrible consequences of dabbling in controversy, which ultimately resulted in the loss of everything that she has worked so hard to achieve.
The actress claimed that she lost a number of excellent deals after getting involved in controversies with some of her industry colleagues a few years ago.
She further emphasised that as a result, no one in the nation wanted to be associated with her, particularly most business moguls.

But Sarfowah, determined to regain her reputation and status, took on a risky project; she set out to shatter the record for the longest speech ever delivered by a single person on the Guinness World Record.
She mentioned that she embarked on this quest to redefine who she was. Adu Sarfowah disclosed this in interview with Berla Mundi on TV3’s Day Show last Saturday.
“Berla, you know I’m that person who saw fame early. I saw in 2015 via ‘Adonko Fa me ko’. That same year I had the opportunity to win Best New Actress in Entertainment in Nigeria. From then I had so many ambassadorial deals and so many opportunities. But along the way, I diverted into controversies and I tell you, I lost everything that I had built.
“Because in the world of controversy, that is where nobody wants to associate themselves with you. I was happy in controversy to be trending every week…you know from one issue to another …so at a point I lost everything. So, I decided to go on a journey of rebirth and that was why I embarked on the longest speaking marathon journey,” she said.
According to her, this feat has really helped her to redefine her reputation and what she was previously known for.
