Eleven passengers lost their lives at Gomoa Simbrofo, near Apam in the Central Region when their vehicles crashed head-on. The vehicles, a Hyudai Grace with registration number CR 885-11 was travelling from Apam to Kasoa whilst the Benz Splinter bus was on its way from Accra to Takoradi.
