The Ghana Police Service says it is investigating an alleged narcotics incident involving some officers of the service, whose identities are unknown. An Accra Circuit Court, presided over by Evelyn Asamoah, has sentenced a Reverend Minister, Edward Buabeng, into a total of 519 years imprisonment. As part of measures to address the current economic crisis, the government launched the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme on December 5, 2022. Pursuant to that, the government invited certain holders of approximately GH¢137.3 billion of the principal amount outstanding of certain domestic notes and bonds issued by the government, E.S.L.A.
